Heerlijk in de culinaire watten gelegd door Jelle de Vliegeraar, de cateraar die als dank voor de inspanningen op het Biks feest voor alle mensen een heerlijke maaltijd gekookt had. We werden onder andere getrakteerd op gele tomatensoep met saffraan, gevulde tomaten, paddestoelensoep, zelfgemaakte ragout, knofloopsoep, wild zwijn met cranberrysaus en een heerlijk toetje met spekkoek, ijs, gestoofde appeltjes en slagroom. Het geheel vond plaats in Zuidwolde, waar Maarten en ik samen naartoe waren gefietst. Heerlijk fietsweer, wat een fantastische herfstdag! Hij begon een tikkeltje brak, maar dat had alles te maken met het mieterse Balkanfeest in de Simplon. Maarten en ik lagen zo rond vijf uur in onze nestjes en om twaalf uur waren we alweer opgestaan. Nog met Jelmer de speeltuin ingeweest. Wat een topweekend, één van de leukere van de afgelopen tijd!
En dan is het morgen weer maandag.
